Cinnamon & Spice
Cinnamon & Spice are about 2 years old and have lived together since being bought from a pet shop. They were neutered on 18th October 2010. Un-neutered boys often fight, but luckily these two did not and seem to get along famously.
Although they can be rehomed as a pair, we are willing to split them up and rebond them with neutered females.
Cinnamon is white with brown and black markings. He is more outgoing than Spice who prefers to sit in the background until he is sure that everything is safe.
They are fairly easy to handle and should make lovely pets.
- Unfortunately Spice died suddenly, and the post mortem showed the likely cause to be VHD.
- It is the policy of the Rescue to vaccinate against VHD as soon as possible. Spice had recently had his myxomatosis vaccination and we had to wait for 2 weeks before his VHD jab. He died before this could be completed.
- Cinnamon was also un-vaccinated, so we are puzzled (but happy) as to why he didn’t contract this contagious disease.
- Cinnamon has subsequently been rehomed with Archie who was originally adopted from Reading Rabbit Rescue in March 2009.
