Weighing in at over 6kg Dolly is the largest rabbit we have at the moment. We believe she is a Chequered Giant (also known as Papillion). She was during 2007 and neutered by her previous owner in December of that year.
She previously lived as a house rabbit and has never had a companion, however we believe she would benefit from being with another rabbit. She has an exceptionally placid nature and despite her size is easy to handle – she loves being groomed, doesn’t bite or scratch and will sit for hours being stroked.
She is of course more than an armful ! She will make someone a fantastic pet Because she is such a large rabbit she will obviously require a huge living space. We do not have a lot of experience with the giant breeds but our research indicates that they can live up to 8 years !
